Perovskite Interfaces
& Solid Oxide Cells

This project combined experimental and computational work to understand doped perovskites, ion migration, degradation, and interface stability.

Experimental chemistry

I worked on synthesis routes for aliovalently doped perovskites, including BZCYYb, using solid-state ceramic synthesis and characterization with SEM, XRD, and EIS.

Computational modeling

On the computational side, I used the CHGNet machine-learned interatomic potential to model ion migration associated with perovskite degradation.

Research output

This work led to a first-author preprint on BZCYYb–YSZ interface stability, along with a second manuscript now under review at Journal of Power Sources.
